Dual-Channel Thermocatalytic Reaction System

The TCT-CES-G01 is a modular experimental platform developed for thermocatalytic hydrogenation research. It can be flexiblyconfigured with dual-channel parallel reaction, series reaction and multiphase catalytic reaction units. With a modular design supporting rapid integration of reactors, gas handling, preheating and online analysis systems, it enables synchronous evaluation and comparative screening of two catalyst samples. The system is widely applicable to Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, CO2 hydrogenation, methane dry reforming and related fields, providing an efficient and flexible experimental platform for catalyst development, reactor optimization and reaction mechanism research.
- Dual-channel parallel reaction: a dual-channel reactor systemruns two catalysts in parallel or in series, greatly improving screening and evaluation efficiency. The two reactors can operate independently or in series, each with insulation and sampling.
- Modular integrated design: reaction, gas-supply, preheating, product-handling and control units can be flexibly combined and expanded per research needs. The modular architecture facilitates future upgrades and adaptation to specific experimental conditions.
- Full-process temperature control: multi-stage gradient heating; reaction furnace operating temperature up to 500 °C (800 °C max); gas preheating up to 300 °C. Full-line heat tracing with independent temperature control prevents condensation and clogging of high-boiling products.
- High-precision gas-liquid feed: multi-channel high-precisionmass flow controllers and liquid feed pumps support dynamic mixing and continuous feeding. Liquid feed is premixed and preheated in a coil mixer to ensure uniform reactant supply.
- Comprehensive online analysis: reactor inlets and outlets feature differential-pressure monitoring, gas-liquid separators, collection tanks and online sampling valves. Products can be kept in the gas phase for online GC analysis, or condensed and collected for offline analysis.
- Multi-level safety & smart control: two-level audible-visual alarms for temperature and pressure with safety interlocks; automatic heating shutdown and gas cut-off on over-limit; safety valves and emergency shutoff. PLC control with a large touchscreen supports real-time data logging, history curves, USB export and remote operation.
